  • Early Learners After School Teacher

    St. Catherine’s School seeks two (2) creative and flexible teacher for its Early Learners After-School Care Program, a special opportunity for the School’s youngest students to explore enriching learning experiences after the regular school day. General hours of this position include approximately 3 ½ hours/day, Monday-Thursday, and 4 hours on Friday during the academic year, with special hours as needed for meetings and professional development.

    St. Catherine’s School seeks a committed and solutions-oriented full-time Middle School Counselor passionate about working with middle school girls and faculty. As part of the Middle School team, the counselor will engage with faculty and students through the Middle School program in which we purposefully define program outcomes to benefit our girls. The Counselor’s role will include working directly with students to provide social and emotional support through one-on-one sessions, small group counseling, teaching trimester courses on personal growth, and promoting the work of the Health and Wellness Team. The Counselor will also be an essential administrative team member. They will assist with creating and facilitating community programming and will be expected to establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/caregivers and their colleagues.

    St. Catherine’s School seeks an enthusiastic and engaging Middle School Latin teacher to begin work for the 2023-2024 school term. The Middle School Latin program aims to provide students with a foundational understanding of Latin grammar and an appreciation for Greco-Roman culture.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Teach introductory Latin to Middle School students, creating a positive classroom environment in which all students feel known and valued
    • Collaborate with colleagues teaching same-level courses and divisional and departmental colleagues
    • Partner with the other Grade 8 academic classes and participate in team meetings
    • Serve as a Grade 8 advisor
    • Develop appropriate formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and assess student learning.
    • Collaborating with colleagues to design meaningful learning experiences for girls
    • Planning and preparing lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
    • Delivering individual, whole-group, and small-group instruction as appropriate
    • Assessing student progress using a variety of formal and informal data collection tools and methods and providing timely feedback
    • Fostering communication and a respectful partnership with parents/guardians in conferences, during phone calls, and through written correspondence

    Position Overview

    St. Catherine’s School seeks a committed and experienced Middle School Spanish teacher who is knowledgeable of middle school girls’ education and has a passion for working with middle school girls and faculty. As part of the Middle School team, this teacher will engage with faculty and students through the Middle School program in which we purposefully define program outcomes to benefit our girls. This MS Spanish teacher should be able to envision, design, develop, and implement a well-rounded 5th-grade Foundations program as well as a 6th-grade Spanish language program.  The MS Teacher role will include serving as an advisor, meeting with two grade-level teams, collaborating with other MS Spanish teachers, and attending regular Department meetings. All teachers, as members of our community, establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents/caregivers, and colleagues.

    POSITION OVERVIEW
    St. Catherine's School is accepting applications for School Bus Drivers. Applicants with Class A or Class B CDL, with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements with a minimum of three years' driving experience are preferred. Responsibilities include driving students along daily shuttle route and day trips. Maintaining assigned bus in a safe, clean, professional manner is a must. Employment is subject to successful background check and physical evaluation.
     
    Requirements
    Core responsibilities of the Bus Driver include:
    • Pre-trip the vehicle properly.
    • Have bus fueled and ready to go 15 minutes prior to departure time
    • Properly fill out time sheet and mileage reports after each drive
    • Have reputable driving background
    • Must possess a Class B CDL with Passenger “P” and “Air Brake” Endorsements.
    • Must not have an air brakes restriction

    St. Catherine’s School seeks a Director of Annual Giving, starting July 1, 2024. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position is responsible for growing St. Catherine’s Annual Giving fund.  The Director of Annual Giving will be a key member of the Development team, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and parent and alumnae volunteers. The Director of Annual Giving will oversee the solicitation process for all Annual Gifts; this includes personal visits, letters, emails, direct mail and social media. Acknowledging and stewarding donors is also a key aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will have experience managing an Annual Giving program and using data to guide strategies to grow the donor base.

    Essential Responsibilities 
    • Work collaboratively with development colleagues, administrators, faculty/staff, and alumnae and parent volunteers to carry out effective Annual Giving strategies.
    • Manage a multi-channel Annual Giving strategy that includes direct marketing, social media, print and email campaigns to grow the number of donors and dollars raised.
    • Manage a portfolio of leadership Annual Giving prospects.
    • Manage St. Catherine’s 24 Hours of Giving, our busiest day for Annual Giving when we receive 850+ gifts.
    • Serve as the contact for Give Campus, our online giving platform. 
    • Steward and serve as point of contact for the network of alumnae, parent and grandparent volunteers who serve as volunteers for Annual Giving. This includes the identification, recruitment, and training of volunteers, clearly communicating expectations, goals, and metrics, managing telethons and volunteer activities, and ongoing cultivation and stewardship.
    • Manage the acknowledgement process for all Annual Giving gifs.
    • Serve as a back-up for our Gift Processor, entering gifts into Raiser’s Edge database when needed.
    • Run reports and analyze data to create strategies to grow Annual Giving.
    • Support and attend major special events of the School, particularly those sponsored by the Development Office. This includes working occasional nights and weekends.
    • Aid development colleagues in the cultivation and stewardship of donors and prospects.
    • Assist in the Annual Report process.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all information.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
    Requirments/Qualifications 
    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Background in managing an Annual Giving program.
